Short Bio

Nikolaos Dimokas received B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Crete, Greece, in 2001 and 2004, respectively. Between May 2004 and December 2005 he worked as a research and development engineer at the Institute of Computer Science at the Foundation of Research and Technology Hellas (FORTH). He received a Ph.D. from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2010. Currently he is a teaching associate at the Department of Informatics, of Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki, Greece.

Research Interests

Data Management (indexing, caching) and Data Dissemination (broadcast scheduling) in Mobile and Pervasive Computing.
Clustering, routing and broadcasting in Wireless Ad Hoc Networks, and Wireless Sensor Networks.
