Research Interests

The greater area of interst is Data Management. In particular, by this term we "cover" issues related to the areas of Database Management Systems (with emphasis at physical level), Data Mining, Web Information Systems, Geographical Information Systems, Ad Hoc Networks, Recommendation systems, Distributed systems (P2P, grid), Bioinformatics and Informetrics (scientometrics/webometrics).
